The American Dive Center Deep Diver Independent Learning Course covers all of the academic material required for the Deep Diver courses as taught by American Dive Center. The course includes over 70 pages of original material tailored to fit the South Florida deep diving scene.

Deep Course 150', Advanced Nitrox, is designed to train divers to carry out dives to 150 feet using custom blends of Nitrox for the bottom mix and Nitrox and Oxygen for decompression. Typical Course Format Session (Optional) 8:30am - 11:30am Class Session 2:00pm - 6:00pm Rodeo 25 + Shallow Wreck Session 2:00pm - 6:00pm Jim Atria + Shallow Wreck Session (Optional) 2:00pm - 6:00pm Hydro Atlantic This "mother of all deep diving courses" consists of one optional administrative class session, two ocean sessions, and an optional dive on the wreck the Hydro Atlantic. The minimum age for enrollment is 18 years and you must be a certified TDI Nitrox Diver (or equivalent) with 50 logged dives. In addition, you must have completed the Deep Diver Independent Learning Course, and have dive insurance for diving beyond 130 feet e.g. DAN Master policy. The course fee per session is $200 for the first person, $150 for the second person, and $100 for each additional person with a maximum of four people per session. The course fee is for instruction only and does not include the Deep Diver Independent Learning Course, the $25 Enrollment Fee, equipment, fills, boat charter fees, a 10% to 15% tip for the boats dive master, or the $25 certification processing fee. Upon successful completion of the course, you will be awarded the TDI Advanced Nitrox Diver Certification for dives to 150 feet.
